ਸਵੇਰ

ਸਨਹਿਰੀ ਗੁਲਾਬੀ ਪੌਣ

ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗ ਸਵੇਰ ਖ਼ੁਮਾਰ

ਘੁਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਸਿਹਜ

ਕਿਰਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਸ

ਉਰਜਾ ਭਰ ਭਰ ਬੁੱਕ

ਸੁੱਚੇ ਸੁੱਚੇ ਸਾਹਾਂ ਦੇ

ਦੇਂਦੀ ਜਿਉਣ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ।

ਸੂਰਜ

ਹੇ ਸੂਰਜ!

ਤੇਰੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ!

ਤੇਰੇ ਰੰਗ ਦੀ ਚੁਨਰ ਰੰਗਾ ਕੇ

ਸੁਆਸ ਸੁਆਸ ਜਪਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ

ਰੂਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਾ ਕੇ

ਬਾਵਰੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਹੋ ਰਹਿਣਾ।
